I qualified in 2013 from the University of Lisbon (Portugal) with a master’s integrated degree in veterinary science. The subject of my dissertation was anew suture pattern developed to repair a muscle during hip replacement in dogs.
Following my training, I joined a busy referral practice in the northeast of England moving to Hull to join Kingston Veterinary Group in 2014. In 2017, after 2 years of postgraduate studies in small animal surgery, I was awarded a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (CertAVP) by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
I enjoy all aspects of working as a vet, having special interest in small animalsoft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. When outside of work I enjoy backpacking to exotic destinations as much as travelling back home, spend some time with my 2 dogs and cat, and deep down I’m a geek in disguise!
