I’m Gemma one of the registered veterinary nurses here at Kingston. I've been with the company for too many years to count! Ever since I was young I have wanted to work with animals. I started volunteering for work experience on a Saturday in 1998.
I completed all of my training here and became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2002. I've been lucky enough to be a branch head at the Cottingham surgery for a number of years until last year where I have moved back to work at the hospital to develop my career by gaining new experience and enjoy the diversity and wide range of cases we see - allowing me to continue learning every day.
When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 2 boys and a gorgeous yet cheeky 5-year-old black Labrador to enjoy long walks in the country or at the beach with.
