I gained a National Diploma in Animal care which led to my first nursing job in veterinary practice in March 2001. I moved to Kingston Veterinary group in August 2008 where I was able to undertake the Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing qualification. As a registered Veterinary Nurse, I have been able to follow my passion of running nursing clinics at the Park Street Hospital.
I believe strongly in developing good preventative health routines and love to spend time helping pets and their owners get this right! I am now a Nursing Manager at Kingston which means I’m often working on staff rotas or ensuring that the group is up to date with the RCVS practice standards scheme. I am fortunate that I still get to use my nursing skills on a regular basis and work within our devoted team to provide excellent care to our patients.
Nothing can beat the satisfaction of being able to support a patient through diagnostic procedures, surgery or hospitalisation.
